2025, 'Shadows of vulnerability'

Paint, Sheet on Wood Frame & Shadow Projection 23.5” x 31”

With this piece, I wanted to show a scene of vulnerability. With the fabric being draped from the frame, it gives a likeness of a bedsheet. With the shadow figure looking over its shoulder, almost scared of being caught, we see it deem the situation safe enough to lower its hood, allowing whoever is under the sheet to see who it is. What happens next is purely between the piece and its projection, only giving the viewer a glimpse of what this ominous situation depicts.
